It’s more than just going for cell once a week. It’s about doing life together. It’s walking through seasons of trials and triumphs together as friends, brothers and sisters. Let us have eyes that will see the real need in the human heart – fellowship with God and men; hands that touched God in worship must also touch the lost in service. There are more people who want to come and be part of an authentic Christ-centered community than we think.
-karen- how i agree with the above statement! if its just a community, i would rather join a community centre and their activities! but no, i'm a part of one of the most vital components of the body of Christ called cell
I have many wonderful memories of my growing up years in Cornerstone. I was part of a cell that is life-giving. Our members did not drag their feet to cell. We look forward to the weekend where we can spend time together. There was nothing special about the cell. The programs were rather predictable. There were always newcomers and they will envy the friendships that we had. But we were always inclusive and the cell just grew in strength weekly. We started giving away our members to serve as interns and leaders in other cells.
-karen- oh, how many activities / events / outings / meals can you guys remember having together? countless, i bet. all these indeed create memories that i still hear about from some of you. dont ever let petty issues come between your friendships, especially with people in the cell.let's create memorable times for ourselves, our cell members, our friends, and our visitors... great memories that they can bring along with them, be it through good or bad times. that they will find that Church is a place called "home" :)
have a blessed week!!! continue to impact your world!
