I've been pondering about the power of naming our members before the Lord, lifting them up in prayer weekly. Let's try this: I'll be praying for all zone and cell leaders by name. The zone leaders praying for their cell leaders and zone interns/core by name. All cell leaders and interns to pray for their members by name. And all shepherds to pray for their sheep and follow-ups by name. and we do this faithfully and regularly. Can you imagine what will happen to our ministry when that happens? Let's all account for the state of our flock. healthy sheep will bring forth healthy lambs!

Hello!
Welcome to Zone 1 virtual space. http://zone1gen.multiply.com/
The purpose of this site is to strengthen our zone unity and identity, as well as to have a platform for communication within the zone, between different cells and members.
I envision this site to be a place where you can find and share resources concerning the kingdom of God - to edify and inspire all of us to press on towards the upward call of God.
Please visit this site regularly for updates on zone matters, schedules and discussions.
I also hope that this site will allow me to get connected with all of you (u know i'm always virtually available). Looking forward to having more content up real soon (altho it will take at least a week or so) so that this will truly be a useful platform for our zone community.
Will give all cell leaders more updates over the next few days as my wife tidies up the site.

God bless,
nwsn

yo sup cell!!!

Today FG was great. After school went to my house. Stanley gave a short sharing about being a marry and abit about our cell goals. than there was kind of a little alter call for those who were tired and worn out, it was not really very happening but every thing needs a start. Than we played starwars molopoly. Funny la, we all had fun and stanley won.

It was good la. They FG is growing friendship bonds and the attdance went up. Really wanna see more people coming for FG although it is far, i don't think it matters as long as you are willing to commit yourself to the FG.

Next week i might be sharing on confession and abit more on how importian cofessing your sin is.

Mark 4:1-20 And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a biat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea.
Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching:
"Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.
"And it happen, as he sowe, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds if the air came and devoured it.
:Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.
"But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away.
"And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and chocked it, and it yielded no crop.
"But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased abd produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
And He said to them, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.
And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mtstery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,
"so that
'Seeing they may see and not perceive,
And hearing they may hear and not
understand;
Lest they should turn,
And their sins be forgiven them.'
And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parables? How then will you understand all the parables?
"The sower sows the word.
"And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown, When they hear, Satan comesimmediately and takes aways that was sown in their hearts.
"These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
"and they have no root in themself, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution aruses fir the wird's sake, immediately they stumble.
"Now these are the ones sown amoung thorns; the are the ones who hear the word,
"and the cares if this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word , and it becomes unfruitful.
"But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: sine thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."

"But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. - the same sunlight that killed the plant is the same sunlight that causes the plant to priduce food and grow. Trials can either kill or grow us - thedifference is how deep our roots (foundation) is. Are we established on the Wrod? Read your Bible today? Lay strongfoundations for yourselves and your sheep =D Mark 6:19 this life causes the plant to produce no crop. It doesn't say 'little crop' 'but no cropat all'. Ahalf hearted pursuit of God priduces nothing at all. May Gen1.4 be a whole-hearted generation that will rock this land with 100-fold harvests!

Love you all,
Jian Cong

I felt led to talk about being a Mary.

Luke 10:38-42
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain villiage; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
39 And she has a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
40 But Martha was distracted with much serving and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?
Therefore tell her to help me."
41 And Jesus answered and said to her,
"Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
42 "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be take away from her."

Throughout this past one week, I felt that I have neglected my part of being a Mary. I felt that I placed ministry and works infront and thus I have been weared down and always feeling so miserable.

Then I just kept thinking of this few verses mentioned above and I pondered awhile. I realised I haven't been praying like I used to, I haven't been worshipping God like I used to, I have been daily reading His word. Guilt and shame hit me and i believe many people always hit this point in their life and will start to blame themselves for things and thus, not picking themselves up from their fall.

Friends, I want to tell you that guilt and shame is what the devil wants out of you and please, do not feel that way because Jesus has paid the price on the cross. Pray and ask God that you may be in His presence 24/7, that no lies of the enemy may struck you down because all you would think of is Him.

Friends, lay down all the works at the foot of the cross and start getting back on track with God. This has been a very tight period for everyone especially the sec4s and also the sec2s for the streaming. But would you put
aside this and just to be a Mary being at Jesus' feet worshipping Him, praying to Him, loving Him? Lets pray that God start to mould us into what He has destined us to be.

Cmon! Lets return to the first love and not forgetting that His love is unconditional. =D

hey guys, ive got something to share. hope that it will build up your faith by the time you read to the end of this entry.

basically, this morning, i woke up kinda late for church. so was in a big hurry to put on my contact lenses before i got changed. low and behold, one of the lense fell off and i couldnt find it. was pretty upset cuz i dont know where it was - sink, bathroom mat etc. in both cases, i would have to get them replaced cuz it would be too dirty for the eye.

tried looking for it for about 3 minutes and i gave up, needed to go out real soon anyway. so i prayed a short prayer - God, let a miracle happen, let the lense appear somehow. you see, it isnt cheap to get contact lense, worse case is cuz i DROPPED it, not that it needs a replacement cuz of long usage. didnt wanna spend those kinda money when it could be invested in the kingdom of God.

so i went for the 1st service, and continued on to the 2nd cuz was encouraged to. was already very tired halfway through the message, but the guest speaker spoke something which i proclaimed by faith.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

the message was focused on the part on Jesus being the way - in of something (e.g. success), out of something (e.g. financial crisis), to something (e.g. ahead) etc.

so anyway, i prayed once again regarding my contact lense. this might seem irrelavant to you, but guess what? God is interested in every part of us, even our worries, and there is no such thing as a "silly prayer"

went home at about 5pm in the evening, and... I SPOTTED THE LENSE ON MY BEDROOM FLOOR!!! boy, i was so excited. i couldnt believe what i saw, i mean, God answered my prayer, even when i didnt quite believe.

our Father is faithful, amen? :) and an answering God, and that is why we pray!!!

remember what Pastor Daniel said at 3rd service today: A.C.T.S
A - adoration (spend time in worship)
C - confession (confessing your sins before the Lord)
T - thanksgiving (thanking God e.g. for your salvation, for the trials that He brings you through because there are jewels at the end of it etc)
S - supplication (prayer needs e.g. exams, salvation of close friends or family etc)

loving Jesus, karen =)
