Dearest friends, Walt Disney had a dream. He dreamt of building the most happy place on earth --- Disneyland. His dream was to make people happy. Wad a dream! Wad a life lived to its fullest!
My dream is to build a HOME.
A HOME filled with the unconditional love of God. A haven where I could be loved, understood, and accepted as who I am. A HOME where my destiny is nurtured, a HOME where my dreams are fulfilled. I call this home Gen1.4. Let's build this home together!
Praise God for the U-turn party! We experienced breakthroughs: 1) in our love for one another ---we have a culture of loving and serving one another, 2) in attendance which was around 55-60, 3) in the atmosphere --- you guys rocked the house! Thanks for being radical, supportive and responsive during praise and preaching! 4) in our offerings --- let's continue to be generous sowers(and we shall reap abundantly!)
The Bible says “There are three things that will endure--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love.“ --- Love is the greatest!!! God is love. Mark 12:29-31 --- Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: `Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." May we all increase in LOVE every single day! Love towards God and love towards one another!
John 21:15 After breakfast Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?"
"Yes, Lord," Peter replied, "you know I love you."
"Then feed my lambs," Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question: "Simon son of John, do you love me?"
"Yes, Lord," Peter said, "you know I love you."
"Then take care of my sheep," Jesus said. Once more he asked him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"
Peter was grieved that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, "Lord, you know everything. You know I love you."
Jesus said, "Then feed my sheep."
Eleven out of 27 OBD follow ups came for the U-turn party --- let's call ALL OBD follow ups this week and invite them back this week! Our focus: 1) Invite them back for our outing to Sentosa on sat (meet @ Harbour front at 1pm) --- trust me, it'll be a day you'll never forget! We'll cook our own dinner and we'll sing under the moonlight! No worries, a bus will fetch you back so you'll reach home b4 9pm. 2) Encourage all cell members to come for Third Service this Sunday. Going to church on Sunday is part of Christian lifestyle and they must cultivate this habit. We'll all be wearing red for Singapore. Let's breakthrough and overflow the front tier!!!
